1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before touching anything.
2. Remove the centre console trim with a plastic trim tool so you don't mark the finish.
3. Undo the screws holding the screen and pull it out just enough to reach the rear connectors.
4. Unplug the original connector and plug in the module's harness, which sits between the screen and the car's unit.
5. Connect the power supply and the data cable that reads the CAN Bus signals, to keep the steering wheel controls.

7. Refit the screen and the trim and reconnect the battery.
