- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait a few minutes.
- Remove the centre trim panel with plastic pry tools, without forcing the clips.
- Undo the screws on the factory radio and pull it out of the slot.
- Disconnect power, speakers and antenna from the old unit.
- Connect the ISO wiring and the CAN Bus adapter, which retain ignition, illumination and steering wheel controls.
- Place the GPS module under the dashboard and the microphone next to the rear-view mirror.
- Route the USB extension cable to the glovebox or centre console so you have an accessible port.
- Fit the dedicated frame, secure the screen and reconnect the battery to test everything.
It's a plug & play installation: no cutting the car's wires, and you can always refit the original radio.
How much does it cost to install CarPlay in a Suzuki SX4 or Fiat Sedici?
